1. Introduction

- This study includes healthcare professionals who participated in the fourth stage of the collaborative pilot project. It aims to evaluate their satisfaction and needs based on their experience with collaborative treatment.

- The study will assess multiple aspects, such as the evaluation of collaboration levels, the efficiency of diagnoses and treatments identified through their clinical experiences, patient benefits, and institutional advantages, all of which are crucial factors in determining the quality of the pilot project.

- This research is conducted annually to evaluate the pilot project.

2. Participants

- The study will target healthcare professionals (e.g., center directors) who have actively participated in collaborative treatment at selected institutions within the fourth-stage pilot project. These healthcare professionals will have experience in facilitating collaboration between medical institutions or within the institutions themselves, particularly in the collaborative care of both Western and Korean medicine.

3. Methods

- After agreeing to participate, the participants will complete a survey developed by the Korean Medicine and Western Medicine Collaboration Monitoring Center. The center will then analyze and conduct the research based on the responses. The survey responses will remain anonymous and will not include the participant’s name.

4. Research Ethics and Safety

- This study will be conducted with approval from the Institutional Review Board (IRB).

- The study is observational, and it is considered low-risk for the participants.

- The information and data obtained from participants will be protected in a way that ensures anonymity, and only trusted methods will be used to safeguard their privacy.

- The original data collected during the study will be retained for 3 years and will then be securely disposed thereafter.
