[Stage 4 Pilot Project] Retrospective Observational Study

1. Introduction

- A retrospective observational study is being conducted based on pre-existing patient charts and data.

- This study, part of the Korean Medicine and Western Medicine Collaboration Pilot Project, aims to explore cases where integrated treatment techniques have been applied through collaboration and to evaluate the outcomes of the pilot project.


2. Participants

- The study will analyze medical records of patients treated through collaboration during the pilot period at participating institutions in Stage 4 of the pilot project.

- The study will focus on diseases that are outside the scope of prospective observational studies but fall under the target diseases of the Stage 4 pilot project.


3. Methods

Case data of participants: Data from patients treated in the pilot project who are deemed to have significant case value by the research team at participating institutions will be selected for the study.

- Researchers at the participating institutions will collaborate with the Korean Medicine and Western Medicine Collaboration Monitoring Center to develop a research plan and case records for the retrospective study and will collect patient information.

- The study will involve the analysis and discussion of the case value of the collaboration and other related aspects.
